NEWS -
Borough Council approved using CDBG funds to repave and stamp the northern part of Mulberry Street from Main Street to Alley #1 North to look brick-paved. It will remain in use as a pedestrian walkway between Main Strteet and free parking in the Trinity Church parking lot.

Borough Council has also approved the closing of Mulberry Street from Main Street to Gay Street to vehicular traffic, converting it into another pedestrian walkway. This southern walkway will later be given this same treatment as the northern part. It will become a safe pedestrian walkway between Main Street and the Rotary Parking Lot. This should strengthen the tie between Main Street and the parking lots.

Future plans look to the Rotary Lot to improve its appearance and broaden its use. Look at the sketch plans to the right showing possible treatments that could include brick-look paving, landscaping, resurfacing, and perhaps areas for seating and eating.
